Chipiona is a municipality that is located in Cadiz, Spain in the region of Andalusia. It´s on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and has a population of about 20,000 inhabitants along it´s 35 kms. It is a locality in between Rota and Sanlucar de Barrameda, close to the Doñana National Park of Huelva.
In the center of the Costa de la luz between Huelva and Cadiz you´ll find the small fisherman town of Chipiona, Spain. Within the last years it has seen how it´s beaches and installations have attracted more and more tourists, and for this reason many urbanizations have began to be developed as well as hotels of all types, like in Costa Ballena of Rota, Spain. From Chipiona to Rota you´ll find over 7kms of goldne sand beaches, faciliites, all types of accommodations, restaurants, bars, beach bars, and places where you can get a great fish dish to eat on the beach.
In Chipiona you´ll enjoy it´s beaches with golden sands and Atlantic Ocean waters, monuments like the Lightouse which is the highest in Spain and one of the biggest in the world, it´s gastronomy based on products from the sea. You´ll enjoy strolls through it´s typical andalusian streets, and a great number of activities to participate in.
We must also mention it´s modern marina where you can take nice walks and enjoy the sunset while observing the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
